ORGANIZATION PROFILE

HABITAT FOR HUMANITY OF GREATER LOS ANGELES RESTORE

Our ReStore
The ReStore is an enterprise of Habitat for Humanity Greater Los Angeles (HFH GLA) that sells new surplus and used home furnishings and building materials to the public. Materials donated by retail businesses, contractors, individuals and other organizations are sold at fifty percent or more below retail value.

Our Mission
The ReStore was established to provide a self-sustaining funding source to HFH GLA and to support our local community with low-cost building and home improvement materials. Profits from the Retore are used by HFH GLA to further its mission of providing homeownership opportunities to low-income families in need of safe, decent and affordable housing. The ReStore also recycles surplus new or used building and home improvement materials to reduce waste in local landfills and to protect the environment.

Our Inventory
Inventory changes daily, however, new surplus and used items are continually available for purchase. Many are unique items that are very high quality and typically unavailable to a casual shopper. These contributions are received from donors in Beverly Hills, Palos Verdes, Pacific Palisades, and other locations. Selections may include air conditioning and heating items; appliances; bathroom fixtures; doors; carpet and flooring; hardware; furniture and accessories; lighting and electrical items; kitchen and garage cabinets; lumber; outdoor living items; plumbing; tile, marble, and stone; windows and coverings; and custom and vintage items.

Donations
We accept new and used building and home furnishing items (click here for How to Donate) from the greater Los Angeles area.
