Thank
you for your interest in donating to the Habitat for
Humanity of Greater Los Angeles’s Home Improvement
Store. We accept donations of new, used, discontinued,
or surplus building materials and home furnishings
from developers, manufacturers, retailers, and individuals.
Donors receive a tax deduction for the full market
value of the donation to the full extent allowed by
law. Receipt for donations is provided for tax purposes.
Donated items are used in two ways: to build simple,
safe, decent homes for low-income families serving
the Habitat for Humanity mission and to be resold
in the Home Improvement Store to the public where
the profits from the proceeds will aid in financing
Habitat for Humanity building projects.
